Back to Listing Yesterday we held a Catalyst workshop in Milan, bringing together in-house counsel and Hogan Lovells volunteers to advise social enterprises on various legal queries. We were delighted to be joined by 4 inspiring organisations, including: Bella Dentro S.r.l an innovative start-up that was the brainchild of two entrepreneurs in Milan, dedicated to improving the critical approach to the consumption of fruit and vegetables, which forces farmers in Italy to leave around 4% of their total fruit and vegetable harvest in the fields every year. In order to save more and more fruit and vegetables and overcome the limits imposed by the perishable nature of fresh produce, the start-up has created a line of processed products that are made from produce that has been saved. Ánako APS an independent social design laboratory developing concrete solutions for humanitarian emergencies and vulnerable communities. Born from the encounter between designers, architects, and researchers from diverse countries and cultures, it works to transform design into a tool for dignity, safety, and autonomy. Wisedana Foundation ETS a philanthropic organisation on a mission to create systemic change for the benefit of all sentient beings and ecosystems through Buddhist values and principles. So.De a project launched by Magma srl to launch the first social, sustainable, and inclusive delivery service in Milan. It supports local businesses, small neighborhood shops, and local businesses, promoting a conscious consumption cycle.
