We are thrilled to see the launch of the MBA 30 Emerging Entrepreneur Awards 2025, a Black British Initiative event that celebrates the innovation and determination of emerging Black entrepreneurs. The awards were launched in partnership with Metro and dmg ventures, starting with a double-page spread in the Metro, marking a significant milestone in our journey to support Black-owned businesses.
The MBA 30 Awards will see twelve contenders compete across four categories: Technology, Beauty & Wellness, Art & Creativity, and Fashion. The stakes are high, as the collaboration with dmg ventures offers the four category winners a guaranteed audience and the incredible opportunity to pitch for funding ranging from £250,000 to £1.5 million.
Metro will be highlighting each contender every month, and to kick things off, we saw first contender Isabelle Pennington-Edmead discuss what inspired her as a fashion student at university and her journey as a fashion designer on a mission to make fasion sustainable and ethical.
