HL BaSE Catalyst hosted an online pro bono workshop with volunteers from five of our corporate clients to provide legal support and advice to some fantastic social entrepreneurs.

Volunteers from Hogan Lovells worked alongside in-house counsel from our corproate clients such as Caterpillar.  The lawyers sat down with the social entrepreneurs to talk through their legal issues and learn about their innovative and impactful work.

  • Hackney Laces: a community supported football club for women and girls who want to play football and learn new skills, on and off the pitch.
  • Ambessa Play: a social enterprise that creates toy kits and workshops for children globally.  For every kit or workshop purchased, a displaced child out of school receives on for free.
  • (In)credible: working for a world that champions care by ensuring the business world embraces and values caring experience and skills.
  • Legal Me: provides and end-to-end legal assistance platform that allows tenants to access recourse for housing disrepair claims at the click of a button, improving access to justice for tenants who may not otherwise be able to afford it.
  • Mind Moose: is a social enterprise which offers a digital platform to support early intervention in children's mental health, and licences this programme to education and healthcare providers (including schools, charities and psychological services).

"I really can't tell you how helpful it was, especially after the isolation and diffculty of the past year or so!"
