In celebration of International Women's Day on 8 March, this week we recognised three brilliant HL BaSE clients who are driving meaningful change on critical issues impacting women and girls.
EqualReach works to bridge the gap between innovative businesses and skilled refugee tech teams. It empowers women and underserved communities to reach their full potential and overcome invisible barriers. We are inspired by founder Giselle Gonzales’ vision and commitment to creating a more inclusive and equitable world.
Discovering Hands is a German social enterprise on a mission to improve early breast cancer detection by training visually impaired women, using their extraordinary sense of touch to save lives. Founded by the inspiring Dr. Frank Hoffmann, Discovering Hands is a longstanding pro bono client, and we are advising them as part of our HL BaSE Training programme.
AWWN (Arab Women Wellbeing Network) is a female-led digital platform designed to empower Arab women living in the UK and Europe. Under the leadership of CEO Yasmin Ramadan, MA, MPP, AWWN provides vital support and resources to help the Arab female diaspora overcome barriers and thrive. We were delighted to welcome AWWN to a HL BaSE Catalyst workshop earlier this year where they shared their insights for creating positive change.
