Appt is working with 20 GP surgeries in East London, running a randomised control trial of Appt’s service.
“We have worked with the HL BaSE programme on two occasions now and both times our expectations have been exceeded. First we worked with a group of lawyers as part of the Catalyst programme, where they helped us to create a strategy around intellectual property protection. Then, in September last year we came back for the BaSE training programme and now we are working with a group of bright young lawyers over a six month period. They are delivering a piece of work that will help us understand our responsibilities as a data processor under GDPR."

Since August we have helped over 800 patients to access important preventive healthcare appointments, which will statistically have identified early warning signs of cardiovascular disease in over 20 individuals, so that care providers can act to reduce the risk to their patients.
