Paper flowers made by employing women survivors of domestic abuse to help them get back into work
Page & Bloom is an alternative florist, selling handmade paper flowers for weddings, events and gifts.
Their social impact is two-fold. Firstly, they employ women who have experienced domestic abuse, providing income and helping them build skills for future careers. They aim to provide fair, flexible employment for women at a difficult and chaotic point in their lives. The work supplements their income, helping to build financial independence. They also help women to develop transferable job skills and experience that will help them move into mainstream jobs in the future.
Secondly, their flowers are made from salvaged paper and other materials, helping to reduce waste, carbon emissions and water use.
