I am a counsel in Hogan Lovells IPMT practice in Beijing, focusing on cross-border intellectual property matters in relation to trademarks, patents, copyrights, domain names and so on across a broad spectrum of industry sectors. My work covers the legal issues for the entire life of IP assets from creating and acquisition of IP assets, to maintenance, commercialization and enforcement of IP assets. There are also regulatory risks that the client needs to be mindful of when using their IP assets which often involves laws on advertising, labelling and so on. It is definitely inspiring to see how brands and technologies are evolved and the great ideas and innovation behind them, which makes my work full of new and interesting intelligence.
