Wheely Tots - David Pitcher, CEO
Wheely Tots is a thriving community-led charitable social enterprise deeply rooted in Tottenham, Haringey since 2015, annually reaching 1,000+ people. Our programmes focus on promoting healthy, confident and resilient communities by fostering stronger connections between people and with the outdoors.
We’ve evolved as experts in age-friendly walking, cycling and bushcraft, and are a registered Bikeability provider. Since 2022, we've delivered the Moselle Community Project from Broadwater Farm Community Centre.
Our services include coordinating diverse weekly community-led activities supported by volunteers. 'Food on the Farm', a weekly foodbank serving approximately 90 households, a community kitchen offering nutritious meals prepared by local cooks, and a cooking-on-a-budget programme.
Our age-friendly programmes cater to various age groups and interests: parent and toddler sessions; Family Bike Club; walks for older people and carers; cycling for over 50s; bike building; maintenance sessions; affordable bike borrowing scheme.
