Thames Rivers Trust - Miles Morgan

Thames Rivers Trust (TRT) is an independent environmental charity that unites organisations working to protect and restore the River Thames and its tributaries.

Acting as a neutral convener and strategic hub, TRT supports collaboration across 27 Catchment Partnerships and leads the Key Partners group, bringing together chief executives and senior leaders of major rivers trusts and allied organisations. Through this network, TRT promotes shared strategy, coordinates joint funding bids, and ensures local actions contribute to catchment-wide outcomes. Its mission is to improve the health of the Thames River Basin for people, wildlife, and nature through partnership, innovation, and evidence-based actions. TRT delivers and supports major collaborative programmes, such as the Thames Catchment Community Eels Project and Salmon School, which combine science, art, and education.

By connecting partners, communities, and decision-makers, TRT ensures a coordinated approach to restoring biodiversity, enhancing water quality, and engaging people with their rivers.
