kontakt kollektiv is a social enterprise that creates safe physical and online spaces for meaningful human connections. Our work facilitates community engagement, increases individual and community well-being, and fosters the integration of people of various backgrounds and abilities in local communities. The project came together in Hamburg in July 2020, in the midst of our global pandemic. A desire to approach life more meaningfully and consciously manifested itself during this time. The initiatives by kontakt kollektiv reached individuals from over 20 cultures and nationalities, aged 2 to 60+, with various abilities and facilitated more than 1,000 new connections, impacting over 260 people in Hamburg and beyond. The organization supports SDG goals: 3. Good Health & Well-Being 8. Decent Work and Economic Growth 10. Reduced Inequalities and 11. Sustainable Cities and Communities.
